The top features highly figured shop sawn veneer from air dried Black Walnut crotch, meticulously quarter matched to create a captivating focal point. The client had a straightforward request for the seating of the Kindred table: to offer a comfortable space for family and guests without impeding the breathtaking view from the patio and table. Our solution came in the form of a sleek bench design that not only allowed water to shed off the seat surface but also provided a snug place to sit that complemented the table's aesthetic. By mirroring the Shou Sugi Ban table base in the bench's design, we achieved a visually cohesive look that enhances the overall appeal of the outdoor setting.
